Tune into KFAI all day on Monday March 8th to hear a full day's programming devoted to celebrating International Women's Day. You will hear music and discussion from 6am to 8:30pm produced to honor IWD.

Georgia presents a special IWD edition of Sonic Pleasure
6 - 8am
MJ Gilmore presents a variety of musical genres produced by women from around the world.
8-10am
Mick Novak hosts a special daytime edition of This Little Girl's Gone Rockin
10-11am
Dixie Treichel, host of Fresh Fruit presents “Women and Water: Art, Awareness & Action,” featuring guests from Women and Water Rights: Rivers of Regeneration discuss the involvement of women in management of local and global water resources, including a month long series of events and guest speakers.
11am-Noon
Health Notes will be celebrating International Women's Day with a program entitled called Girls of Distinction, featuring girls from We Win Institute's Rites of Passage program will be honoring great African and African American She-roes.
Noon-1pm
Lydia Howell, host of Catalyst talks about IWD over the noon hour and presents women of social change.
1pm-2pm
Helena do Sol presents Girassol, Musica do Brasil, featuring Brazilian women artists' contributions that helped shape Brazilian musical genres on O dia internacional das mulheres.
2-4pm
Nancy Sartor presents a variety of genres of music all produced by women.
4-6pm
The Nighthawk brings you Women and the Blues.
6-7pm
