
KFAI Broadcasts Live from Juneteenth

On Saturday June 21st, join KFAI at the the Juneteenth Festival in Theodore Wirth Park. KFAI will broadcast live from 9am until 5pm right next to the African Map Room on Glenwood Avenue. Join Kenna Sarge of Mostly Jazz from 9 to 11am, Janis Lane-Ewart of The Collective Eye from 11am to 1pm, Tony Paul and Rachel from The Shake & Bake Show from 1 to 3pm, and Lynval Jackson of Caribbean Jam from 3 to 5pm.
This year’s festival includes a health and wellness pavilion, canoe rides on Wirth Lake, a financial services industry job fair, an arts and history village, more than 100 education and information vendors and performances by local musicians.
