Happy 30th Birthday, KFAI!

May 1, 2008 marks 30 years of KFAI programming in the Twin Cities. KFAI's first broadcast took place in the belfry at Walker Church in south Minneapolis. A handful of volunteers provided the first years of programming with a 10 watt license. KFAI grew up in the Powderhorn neighborhood and moved to its current location on the West Bank in 1991.
