Live Interview: Neighbors Against the Burner

November 14, 2007
Neighbors Against the Burner recently held a public meeting to provide residents of the Twin Cities more information about the hazards of building a Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) incinerator to generate energy for the Rock-Tenn paper recycling plant at Hwy 94 and Cretin Avenue. Nancy Hone, a veteran political activist in the freedom for health care movement has spearheaded this effort. KFAI news hosts Benno Groeneveld and Bob Hines interviewed Ms. Hone as well as Dr. Paul Connett, Professor of Chemistry at New York's St. Lawrence University and Alan Muller of Green Delaware during the KFAI Evening News.
