Encuentro plays the Mexican Revolution

This Sunday, November 18, Encuentro will feature a special section in observance of the 97th anniversary of the beginning of the Mexican Revolution (officially marked on November 20th, 1910).

This special section will include some of the best known corridos (ballads) by which the Mexican people chronicled the Revolution's most important events and have also kept alive and vibrant not only the memory of those events but also that of the emblematic men and women that took part on them (Emiliano Zapata, Pancho Villa, etc).

Encuentro can be heard every Sunday afternoon, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm, here, at KFAI, radio without boundaries.
