SNG Financial Woes

October 3, 2007
Roughly two months after the resignation of former Director Lori Stone and former Board Treasurer Perry Caranicas, the Seward Neighborhood Group is investigating allegations of financial mismanagement. As the non-profit transitions from a full staff to a grassroots, volunteer-based operation, board members are optimistic about learning from their mistakes, upholding transparency and communication with the community, and recruiting creative minds to help move the organization forward.
The Seward Neighborhood Group's Revitalization Committee meets at 7 p.m. on Thursdays at the Seward Neighborhood Group Offices, located at 2323 East Franklin Avenue in Minneapolis
