Project Homeless Connect at the Convention Center

October 3, 2007
Hundreds of volunteers arrived at the Minneapolis Convention Center on October 1st to serve over 1,000 men and women experiencing homelessness. This all day event, called Project Homeless Connect, is a one-stop shop of services such as haircuts, legal support, and even dental received on the spot.
Project Homeless Connect was organized by the Minneapolis/Hennepin County Office to End Homelessness in partnership with The Family Housing Fund and a dedicated steering committee made up of community members, service providers, and persons who have experienced homelessness.
