Poet Michael Dennis Browne, James Peter Taylor, Kathleen Murphy-Taylor on Write on Radio

October 2, 2007
Thursday, October 4, poet Michael Dennis Browne joins us to talk about a new workshop he is leading, The Meeting of the Waters: Poetry and Prayer, Oct. 12-13 at the Benedictine Center in Maplewood.
Also, James Peter Taylor and Kathleen Murphy-Taylor discuss his memoir, Willow in the Storm, which recounts the events of Jim Taylor's unusual life, over forty years of which were spent incarcerated. Mentally and sexually abused by his adoptive father, Jim Taylor receives a life sentence at age 30 when he accidentally kills Kenneth Lindberg, a Minnesota banker and married father of four, during a robbery. The book has received high praise from Sister Helen Prejean, author of Dead Man Walking.
