Hennepin County AFSCME Negotiations

Workers from Hennepin County's American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees are preparing for aggressive negotiations to their contract terms. Although no strike date has been set, AFSCME Local 34 (social service workers) President Jean Diedrich says AFSCME is always prepared to strike. AFSCME expects to finalize negotiations by November 28th.
