
Youth News: Profile of an Upcoming Hip Hop Artist

Nahjea Lee is entering the 9th grade at Brooklyn Junior High School in the fall. For her story as a 2007 Youth News Intern, She chose to profile an up and coming hip hop artist to better understand what it takes to get an album produced in an age when sex and violence seem to be hottest selling points of a hip hop album. Nahjea is African-American, and born in Minneapolis.
