Legendary Scottish singer Horse McDonald joins Hosts
Dixie Treichel and John Townsend on Fresh Fruit Thursday September 20th at 7:30pm via phone from Scotland.
Out Scottish singer/songwriter Horse McDonald makes her American debut on Kosmic Music with the release of Red Haired Girl Sept. 4, 2007.
Horse McDonald is a unique talent. A musician all of her life, her career has spanned three decades, six albums, eight singles, hundreds of live appearances.
She has worked with artists as diverse as Tina Turner, Robbie Williams, Burt Bacharach, Brian Ferry, BB King, Aztec Camera, Nanci Griffith, Sir Ian McKellen, Lesley Garrett, Pet Shop Boys, All Saints, Kid Creole, Culture Club, Erasure, Michelle McManus and is highly appreciated by a large and enthusiastic fan base. She has also performed live with the BT Scottish Ensemble (subsequently released as a live album), and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
