This week on Write on Radio (Thursday, August 30th, 11am-Noon)Jules Nyquist talks to Sven Birkets about the future of our literary culture and his relationship with our own Minnesota Graywolf Press, which includes his books Reading Life, Readings, and Tolstoy's Dictaphone: Writers and the Muse. Sven is the editor of AGNI magazine, has taught writing at Harvard University, Emerson College, and Amherst and is currently a lecturer at Mt. Holyoke College and a member of the core faculty of the Bennington Writing Seminars. He lives in Arlington, Massachusetts, where he joins us live via phone.
Ian talks to acclaimed author Lorna Landvik (author of Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons) returning live in the studio to discuss her new novel THE VIEW FROM MOUNT JOY from Random House, along with her extensive up-coming tour.
