Playwright Ronnie Almog on Fresh Fruit

August 15, 2007
On Thursday, August 16, tune in to Fresh Fruit with guests Lousia Hext and Richard A. Pettey.
Louisa Hext is host/visit arranger of Somewhere In Between by former Israeli soldier & transgender playwright Ronnie Almog. The play is directed by Isi Mamnov and deals with the transgender issue from a very internal angle, exposing feelings and emotions that transgender people experience. Coming from Tel Aviv, the performing group comes to the Twin Cities at the St. Paul Jewish Community Center on September 6 and The Center for Independent Artists from September 7-9. Learn more about Somewhere In Between.
Fading to Grey is a new full-length play by Twin Cities playwright Richard A. Pettey. The play explores the true meaning of family by following Alan and Terry, a couple on the day of their twenty-fifth anniversary. The play comes to the Mound Theatre in St. Paul for 11 performances, running from August 3-19. More info is available at the Mound Theater (651-772-2253).
That's Fresh Fruit on Thursday, August 16, from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, on KFAI.
