As the state reels from the shock of the I-35W bridge collapse, Minnesotans are also stepping up to the plate by generously offering financial gifts for relief efforts to those affected. When disaster strikes, the needs are of a critical, urgent nature: What is the best and safest way one can help to make the greatest difference? Rich Cowles, Executive Director of the Charities Review Council offers some advice.
