Freedom Jazz Festival on August 11

August 8, 2007
The Freedom Jazz Festival is always a great summer event that features the hottest and the coolest locally, nationally, and internationally known jazz artists. Show stopping performances of Jazz throughout the day along with blues, funk, gospel, R & B, and world music.
On Saturday, August 11, 2007, The Ball at the Falls will be a wonderful afternoon of music, arts, crafts, delicious foods, fun family activities, and a terrific end-of-summer celebration. It's a perfect place and time to have a party! Join the Jam Session as we end with the Party March to the falls to send the day's musical festivities flowing down the Mississippi River.
The band stand setting in the lush green atmosphere of Minnehaha Falls Park and the sounds of the falls is probably the best music venue in the Twin Cities. You will hear and see Dean Brewington, Wain McFarlane, Andres Prado, Walter Chancellor, Jeff Keys and Urban Cadence, Bruce Henry, Kevin Washington Trio, The Bill Crutcher Group, Thomasina, and more. All events are free and open to the public, so come on down and have a good time!
We hope you spend the day with us on August 11th for The Ball at the Falls as we party at the 2007 Freedom Jazz Festival!
