Bastille Day Special on Bonjour Minnesota

This Sunday, July 15th on Bonjour Minnesota, Georgette and Caryl will present a special program in honor of French Independence Day, July 14. There will be many versions of the national anthem, La Marseillaise, which range from the patriotic to the irreverent. There will be songs by Edith Piaf from 1789 to the modern about the bals populaires or neighborhood dances given by the city.

Join us on July 15 to mark the taking of the Bastille Prison on July 14, 1789 and the beginning of the end for the French monarchy!
