Disco Disco Disco on this week's Crap From The Past

June 21, 2007
Do you want to know what New York City sounded like in 1979? A few weeks ago, a listener in Austin, TX sent Ron Boogiemonster Gerber a cassette that she found in her parents' house. Someone had taped two hours of Disco 92 KTU on February 24, 1979, all with the music and talk breaks left intact. Amazingly, the tape survived over 28 years in storage! And this week on Crap From The Past, we'll hear 90 minutes of it - 90 minutes of New York's #1-rated radio station from 1979, uncut, for your polyester-pant-suit-wearing enjoyment! That's this Friday, June 22nd, from 10:30 to midnight on Crap From The Past.
