Bird Dance Beat special returns to Radio Rumpus Room

Radio Rumpus Room again celebrates the rockin' sounds of Minnesota from 1963-67 in our 6th annual Bird Dance Beat special, taking place this Friday, May 25 at 9:00 p.m. Lifting its name from the flip side of the Surfin' Bird single, Bird Dance Beat provides RRR's highly valued listenership a dunk-tank-style immersion into the music that galvanized bars, ballrooms and youth centers from Moorhead to Minneapolis, and Duluth to Owatonna during the period 1963-67.

The Bird's the Word this Friday, May 25 at 9 .m. on Radio Rumpus Room. Come on in -- no need to be left standing in the parking lot!
