KFAI celebrates IWD with 24 hours of programming from Friday midnight March 8th to Saturday midnight March 9. (See full schedule below)

This day of special broadcasting provides opportunities for women’s and girls’ voices and issues to be heard on the airwaves. All of the shows are produced and hosted by women and girls from the Twin Cities. KFAI has been celebrating International Women’s Day since 1989!

International Women’s Day is a holiday recognized by the United Nations and is celebrated throughout the world on March 8. IWD encourages advocacy for women’s advancement everywhere in every way and for challenging the status quo for women’s equality and vigilance inspiring positive change.

Dear KFAI Community,

It is my pleasure to announce the appointment of Suzann Eisenberg Murray as KFAI’s new Interim Executive Director.

Suzann is a founding partner of the Dendros Group, a dynamic St. Paul-based consulting firm. She has extensive experience providing capacity building, executive transition management, strategic planning and leadership to nonprofit, government and public/private sector collaborations. Suzann has 20 years of experience serving a wide variety of nonprofit organizations as an executive director, senior program director, trainer and board member. Prior to entering the non-profit field, she spent 17 years in the private sector serving as a corporate trainer, executive level manager and business owner of a full service public relations and communications firm.

KFAI DJs will be on the scene at Art-A-Whirl this weekend, spinning on Friday and Saturday at the Silent Auction Gallery #332 of the Northrup King Building. Explore the amazing art and meet some of your favorite KFAI programmers.
