This Wednesday night on “Live From Studio 5!” we present local alternative/folk-rock stalwart Barry Thomas Goldberg who has made a name for himself among the current generation as an outspoken, fearless political commentator and a musician who can adapt to a bevy of different styles, but he has, in fact, been playing and writing his original brand of protest songs for over four decades.

On this week's episode of the True Brit! Radio Show, amiable host Simon Husbands chats up a storm with rock star, radio personality and author, Mr. Greg Kihn! Greg is the inimitable Beserkley Records recording artist of the 1980's, best known for his chart-topping songs and MTV videos, Jeopardy, and The Breakup Song. Jackson Buck will interview affable maverick singer/songwriter Todd Snider on Freewheelin’, Monday February 18th.

Larry Hayes was one of the founding members of The Lamont Cranston Band along with his brother Pat (who everyone thinks is Lamont). He also had his own band in the early days of the Minnesota music scene, Larry Hayes & The Tonearms. Tom Burns played with Lazy Bill Lucas, The Joel Johnson Band, and more. This one is a can’t miss show too.

Tom Page and Dustin Arbuckle stop by the studio on Wednesday, November 19th during the House Party, which airs 3-6 pm.

If you like the old psychedelic, blues, rock evocative of Blue Cheer, you’ll LOVE VOODOO. This is a new local band that’s getting traction. Lewis Franti and Paul Sauey continued their past musical relationship with the key addition of Johnny Kasai on guitar.
