The music world was shaken this week with news of the death of legendary songwriter, soul singer and “disco queen” Donna Summer. Summer passed away on May 17th due to cancer. Summer ruled the Billboard Hot 100 from 1976 to the early 1980s, with nine Top 40 hits and three consecutive number-one double-albums. But she wasn’t resting on her past success: Summer was still making music and performing.

Aury Tovar joins us in Studio 4 during her visit from Caracas, Venezuela, to sing traditional Venezuelan songs and accompany her lovely voice on the Venezuelan cuatro. A very special appearance!
