In the second half of the show Doug Wilhide talks about A Long Shout: Selected Writings of Clarence Jonk, which he edited. Clarence Jonk. Clarence Jonk was a true Minnesota character who built a houseboat out of scrap materials during the Depression and sailed it down the Mississippi. He was a journal writer, poet, and children’s book author.
