This week on KC Radio we dig into our gunny sack of dusty 45’s, moving from blues to black gospel to soul jazz to straight funk. Highlights include some early soul out of Milwaukee from The Esquires, and a super rare cover of Midnight Hour by The El Paso Drifters.
Tonight’s program features guest, Christine Pradel-Lien, a talented tapestry weaver. Christine won the grand prize at the Minnesota State Fair, Fine Arts division. She explains her art and how she does it. We will hear a variety of music, both old and new.
