Well, it was one of those weeks when so much new stuff arrived that it was hard to get to everything. The latest Chimp Beams:http://www.myspace.com/chimpbeams; straight from the artist tracks from Love Grocer (Big D!), Tony Dubshot:http://www.myspace.com/tonydubshot, Trevor The Technician McKenzie, and Daily Bread Dub. New downloads from eMusic.com…and, a whole bunch of great new stuff from Six Degrees:http://www.sixdegreesrecords.com, including Cheb i Sabbah’s excellent new Devotion. All one can say is Wow!

NAGA played LIVE in the on-air studio for Lady J.

Seriously—a new B-52s record. Thr first in 16 years. Along with the 25th Anniversary Boiled in Lead release, and Gary Louris playing that night, it felt like high school this morning. We also heard new local music from El Guante with an incredible spoken-word piece, and the new Southside Soul Volume One. Congratulations to South Minneapolis for the 20-track representation on that.
