Bill Watkins defines the term celt and regales us with stories from his memoir The Once and Future Celt. It completes a trilogy started by A Celtic Childhood and Scotland Is Not for the Squeamish.
In the second half, poets John Medeiros and Andrea Jenkins read from their work and preview an upcoming GLBT Pride literary extravaganza June 25th, sponsored by Intermedia Arts at the downtown Minneapolis Central Library.
The first hour takes off from the anniversary of the Bossa Nova – with new sounds from Brasilian artists. The second hour features songs from two cd’s of Tcheka – Cape Verde musician in town at the Cedar Thurs. June 5.
