The incomparable author Erica Jong phones in to talk about her current work as well as her landmark novel, Fear of Flying. A novelist, poet, and essayist, Erica Jong has published 20 books, including eight novels, six volumes of poetry, six books of non-fiction and numerous articles in magazines and newspapers such as the New York Times, the Sunday Times of London, and the New York Times Book Review.
Also on Tuesday’s show we interview children’s book author and illustrator Lisa Jahn-Clough. Her books include Alicia Has a Bad Day and Little Dog, as well as the young adult novels Me, Penelope and Country Girl/City Girl. She currently teaches at Hamline University in the Low-Residency MFA Writing for Children program.
