today we began with music from the great Argentinian tango master, Astor Piazzolla (American Clave), we also heard music from Irish concertina master, Noel Hill (Shanchie), followed by Bakhshi Olyo-Gholi Yegane from the Turkoman Sahra of Iran (Mahoor), then music from the New song movement of South America by Atahualpa Yupanqui (le Chante du Monde), music from the group SWAP (Northside), then music of the Bororo Indians of Brazil (Unesco), then music from Sitar master, Purbayan Chatterjee (Virgin).

During the second hour we had in studio guests, the Northern Latitudes Mandolin Quartet. We finished the hour with music from Japan’s Yoshida Brothers(Dana), and Son de la Frontera of Spain (World Village).
