Jerod Santek and John Minczeski join us to talk about a fundraiser Saturday, January 24th at the Loft for the upcoming Association of Writers and Writing Programs conference. Jerod Santek is Program Director at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis, where he administers mentorships, grants, and fellowships for writers. A poet and fiction writer, his work has appeared in numerous journals including Ploughshares, Blithe House Quarterly, and Hayden’s Ferry Review.
John Minczeski is an award-winning poet who resides in the Twin Cities where he works and teaches. He’s the author of four poetry collections, the editor of three anthologies, and his poems have appeared in journals around the US and abroad, including Poetry East, Quarterly West, Agni, and many others.
In the second half of the show, we welcome David Oppegaard to studio. His debut novel is The Suicide Collectors, a post-apocalyptic story.
