Tonight’s guest is Jan Dolphin, who has written a charming and useful new guidebook to Paris, Paris From the Heart. The guide includes an introduction full of tips to the visitor along with five booklets, each covering a walking tour of a specific area of interest. Each booklet concludes with a list of restaurants nearby. Jan speaks of how and why she wrote this guide. She also includes great photos and past illustrations of Paris.

Just 24 hours ago, DJ Izzy returned from a solo road trip to Clear Lake, Iowa, where he saw Brian Wilson perform at the Surf Ballroom. A serendipitous pre-show meeting with his idol on the tour bus was a highlight of the trip, and inspired tonight’s show, which features music from members of Brian’s touring band, including the Wondermints, Falling Wallendas, Nelson Bragg and more.
