The dub overfloweth… Starting out with the great new Breath of Peace album from Dub Caravan meets Hornsman Coyote. Then came the cool and varied Lion In Dub release from the Dub Campaign, followed closely by Patra’s choice new single “Sweet Reggae Music”. And then another two-fer from Yesking’s superb “Re-Record Not Fade Away” release on BBE, followed by new tunes from Dub Rifles, Tricky, Dub Dynasty, Fred Locks (archival tracks on new box set), John Brown’s Body, Yabass Yaba Radics, Dub Gabriel, Version Xcurson, 2 Kings, and Reggaesta (remixing Amy Winehouse).

We speak with bestselling author CJ Box about his new Joe Pickett novel Breaking Point. He has won the Edgar, Anthony, Macavity, Gumshoe and Barry Awards, as well as the French Prix Calibre .38.

We also speak with award-winning theater artist Virginia Grise about her work. Her play Blu won the Yale Drama Series Award and a Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Award, as well as an Alliance Theatre’s Kendeda Award. And she also co-wrote The Panza Monologues.

2 interviews today…one with Rochester Minnesota blues diva Annie Mack…..who stopped by the show to talk about her newest CD project due out in May 2013.
Annie and her band are also 2013 contenders for the Road to Memphis IBC competition. I also had an interview with Reverand Raven who is coming to the Twin Cities to play at the Minnesota Music Cafe on Friday night April 19th.

Dancing tunes to perk up your day and a live conversation with Natalie Nowytski about her new Czech/Slovak bluegrass album!
