We talk with Katey Schultz about her new short story collection Flashes of War. She is a recipient of the Linda Flowers Literary Award from the North Carolina Humanities Council and a graduate of the Pacific University MFA in Writing Program.

We also chat with Matt Rasmussen about his new poetry collection Black Aperture, which won the 2012 Walt Whitman Award from the Academy of American Poets and was a finalist for the 2013 National Book Award.
