3/31/2014 Pam Without Boundaries

Still enjoying the St. Paul & The Broken Bones release we’ve been hearing together on Monday mornings. The title track to “Half the City” is great, “Call Me” is great, “It’s Midnight” is what we heard today and it’s great. If you’ve been digging the neo-soul artists of late like Charles Bradley or even Mayer Hawthorne, don’t sleep on this record. We also heard Glen David Andrews new one—full of varying styles not unlike his cousin Trombone Shorty—and new local music from Vernon Dixon and The 99ers. And new Thievery Corporation and Dan Croll. And Benny K stopped in during the second hour to talk about his new music, too!
