1/2/2008 Echo Chamber

The inaugural show of 2008…and what a way to begin the year. The doctor started things off with Ghetto Priest’s Auld Lang Syne/Slave’s Lament versions, and kept things heavily chilled with Likkle Mai, Dust Galaxy, U-Niko, Cocoa Tea, Royal African Soldiers, King Tubby, Electrocutango, Mutant Frogs, and many more… DJ Baby Swiss capped off the New Year’s celebration by looking back on some of his faves from ’07

A new year is upon us and that means one thing: making promises you know you won’t keep. Are you going to learn a language, pick up a new hobby or lose those holiday pounds? Are you going to keep at it until you get your desired results, or forget about it by lunch? Then this is the show for you.

This first 2008 edition of the show we heard a few of the 2007 records that music writers put on their tops lists, such as The Pines, Iron and Wine, Cloud Cult and Wilco; we also heard Dana Leong, an artist out of New York who is definitely one to watch for music heads in ’08.
