Today we honored the late Ralph Mooney who passed away March 20th at the age of 82. He is a member of the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame and is heard playing the instrument in every recording featured in this show. The music was recorded between 1954 and 2010.

Tonight we were honored to debut the excellent new The Lion of Judah Hath Prevailed EP from The Process meets Ghetto Priest. Also, played the extended version of “Most Dangerous Man/Free Up Yu Mind” from Eric Blowtorch & Prince Jazzbo (to announce Eric’s Minneapolis appearance 4/10), and debuted the heavy new Dub Is A Weapon album “Vaporized”.

More live music in the studio to celebrate 2011 pledge drive:
Annie Mack along with guitarists Jeremy Johnson and Phil Schmid.

Annie came up from Rochester, Minnesota to support KFAI and to promote the 2011 International Blues Challenge. She’ll be competing May 1st at Wilebski’s Blues Saloon to see who gets to go to Memphis to represent Minnesota.
