It's Martin Luther King's birthday observance and Inauguration Day all wrapped up in one.  We'll also get regular features from World Exposure and Story City.  We'll talk with Janis Lane-Ewart in Washington DC, Andrew Campanella of School Choice Week, and hear from local Somalis who gathered on Friday to hear a speech by Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, the new president of Somalia.

During the first hour we listen to a concert by North Indian vocalist, Kalapini Komkali. She is the daughter of Kumar Gandharv. The concert was recorded and edited by Dan Rein.
In second hour we had in studio guest, Karen Townsend. Karen played the accordion and sang her origin songs.

Karl gets started on the Mardi Gras spirit with a bunch of New Orleans music. Then it’s time for some serious Zydeco and Cajun. And a look at zydeco covers of popular tunes.
