Nicholas Roesler was a lot of fun to have in at 7:30am to talk about his new record, and we squeezed a lot of new music in, too. We heard a preview from Ellis’s new record, which will be celebrated February 2nd with a cd release party at the Cedar Cultural Center:http://www.thecedar.org. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Day
We played excerpts from Dr King’s speeches, music from racially integrated groups and music from racially integrated duets.

During the first hour we heard music from a live concert by Aruna Sayram. It was a concert recorded in May 2003 and sponsored by the Indian Music Society of Minnesota and recorded by Dan Rein.

In the second hour we had in studio guests, Nona and Marshall from the local group, Dark, Dark, Dark.
