Liberty Finch & DJ Izzy celebrate Bicycle Day with a psych/pop spectacular!

Swiss scientist Albert Hofmann was the first person to synthesize, ingest and learn the psychedelic effects of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD). On April 19, 1943, he performed a self-experiment to determine the drug’s true affects. Less than an hour later he experienced sudden and intense changes in perception, and asked his lab assistant to escort him home by bicycle. Hofmann died in 2008 at the age of 102.

Hour one I welcomed my brother Jon and Ron Anderson and we celebrated the life of local singer Harry Lovett who was also known as Harry Jay and then Johnny Harra. Hour two I remember one of this stations special volunteer Jim Krahn.
