PB & The Jam

This is one INCREDIBLE group. They jammed the night away and the icing on the cake I'd say was the DJ. He was more than just a DJ although he did have an actual vinyl disc but there was a kaoscillator or some other thingy that added to the flavor.

Thanks to David Cummings, host of KFAI’s Rockin’ In Rhythm for sitting in with me this afternoon.

It was part 2 of our 6th annual “Dearly Departed” show in which we pay tribute to and play music by artists who passed away last year. Part 1 aired on David’s show on Monday (also available on the archives).

We only scratched the surface of artists who passed away last year, but we were able to get in a variety of genres ranging from rockabilly to reggae, rock and blues to twangy stuff and New Orleans.
