Blues

Live music, new releases, ticket giveaways, and guest host Angie Pykonen from KFAI’s In Your Ear What a great way to spend my Wednesday afternoon.

Fuck Knights were our guests in the studio. We chatted and laughed; they played and rocked the joint.

New music included a couple of tracks from the new tribute “Rave On Buddy Holly”. We heard a Justin Townes Earle covering “Maybe Baby” and Paul McCartney’s take on “It’s So Easy”.

Other new music: The Sweetback Sisters, George Thorogood & The Delaware Destroyers, David Bromberg with Levon Helm, Grayson Capps, plus something from the new tribute to The Doors by James Lee Stanley and Cliff Eberhardt entitled “all wood and doors”, (all lower case thank you). Paul Barrere (of Little Feat fame), Timothy B. Schmidt and many other talented musicians helped out, including both John Densmore and Robby Krieger of the Doors.
