This program includes a few songs by the Mexican composer Roberto Cantoral (who passed away last Saturday), some traditional Mexican music played on “Salterio” and music from Brazil (Dona Edith Do Prato). The third ½ hour will consist entirely of music by Astor Piazzolla. The last ½ hour will include a reading of a short story by Gabriel García Márquez.

Guest Robert Perizzo speaks of his upcoming book with his own illustrations of the voyageurs and important indigenous, Quebecois, and French personalities of the 17th- 19th centuries in Minnesota. Songs of the voyageurs are played while old and modern French music fills the 9:00-10:00 PM time.
