The third ½ hour presents Latin American artists who have outspokenly expressed their opposition to Arizona’s anti-immigration law, SB 1070. Today is the 37th anniversary of the death of Pablo Neruda. The last segment is dedicated to his poetry.
Starting off tonight’s dubwise journey was the new Echo Beach: 30 Years Anniversary Remixes. This was followed by new releases from Lee “Scratch” Perry (“Revelation” on Megawave) and Natacha Atlas (“Mounqaliba” on Six Degrees). Also, tonight the very good new rootical release “Before the Dawn” from Buju Banton.
