World Music

The first 50 minutes include some old, classic Mexican songs and a few examples of “La nueva trova cubana”. From 8:50 until 9:30, I present some “Boleros” interpreted by the Cuban Olga Guillot (who just passed away this Monday the 12th) and some of her contemporaries. In the last ½ hour of the program I include a couple of poems interpreted by the “Declamador” Manuel Bernal.
