The first ½ hour of this program consists of a small retrospective of the puertorriqueño composer Rafael Hernández, “El Jibarito,” (1891-1965). The second ½ hour presents two folk Argentinean genres: “Malambo” and “Chacarera”. The last ½ hour includes music from Uruguay and the last 12 minutes contain the reading of a few texts by the Uruguayan writer Eduardo Galeano.
