Christmas and End of the Year celebrations is the theme of the music presented in this program, including examples from all over Latin America and Spain. The Literature segment presents a few short stories by local author María Alicia Vetter.
The Minneapolis performance group Dykes Do Drag explores art and gender through music, performance art, multimedia, and other forms of self-expression. Active since 1999, the group performs throughout the year at the Bryant Lake Bowl theater in Minneapolis. What sets Dykes Do Drag apart from traditional drag shows is how each performer explores and personifies the concept of “gender.”
