New local music this morning from Nikki the RueMates, who had a CD release party that John Wills also played—which he is why he got up early with us on November 4th (thanks, John!). Nikki the RueMates also played the KFAI 30th Anniversary party at the Eagles on November 8th, and it was packed! It was so fun to see old KFAI friends and meet new KFAI folks, too. Thank you to everyone who was able to come down and celebrate the little station that could. Check out the playlist for more new curiosities, such as The Postmarks, Lenka, and Jenny Lewis.
