Our Fair City – a serial from HartLife NLF. After the End, when those who survived live underground in tunnels, an Insurance company is the defacto government. And we offer up the next 4 episodes in the series.

Tonight’s episode of Jet Set Planet (Friday Aug 3) features

*a guy who arrives to the party With Bells On (no kidding, Sid Bass really does)
*a horn player who puts out a record showcasing songs about booze
(yep, that would be Pete Condoli)
*a real stiff hack named Lester Lanin who wipes off the Lanicaine
long enough to prove he’s not completely comatose (yeah that’s HIM
doing that amazingly arranged version of Up, Up and Away)

Plus sleazy listening from the Mystic Moods Orchestra, Brian Auger,
Ramsey Lewis Trio, and Ekseption (making their debut on the program).

The Fringe show, Chorus: Voices after the Silence.

Tonight, DJ Miguel Vargas is spinning records out of your (Chican@) parents’ basement like it’s 1984.

African Summer sampler… continues !

Tonight we had the great pleasure to feature the new Echo Chamber – Around the World In Dub – Vol. 1 & 2 album! That’s right…the first Echo Chamber album was officially released on Bandcamp.com on July 5th. On the program tonight we played the entire Volume 2 of this compilation album, featuring: Kukan Dub Lagan, Celt Islam feat. Dawoud Kringle, Ratapignata (Arrogalla Remix), Volfoniq, Bandulu Dub, Copia Doble Systema feat. Catar Sys, Dub For Light, Dubzoic, AB2G, Dub Majestic, Zion Dirty Sound (feat. Sista Raphaelle), Trevor The Technician McKenzie, and Mutant Frogs. But, before getting to the Echo Chamber album, we kicked things off with 2 fine new compilations on Green Queen Music: “Reggae & Dubs” and “Club Nights”.
