Wow! What a full show tonight! Not only a ton of great new music, we had guests in the house – the up and coming singer known as Glaze along with da man from Dimension Sounds – and we featured my interview of Jemere Morgan recorded a few weeks back at the Turf Club! Among the new releases were SoulFiya’s hot new album “One” (from which we played the title track + the dub); Thievery Corporation’s great new “The Temple of I&I”; DownBeat’s new “Introspeccion”; Rass Kwame’s new single “Look Around You”; and DubRaJah’s new “Reprise” album! More cool new tunes from The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra, HabooDubz, Aquaserge, Dubmatix & Gappy Ranks, Icaro, and Barbes D (with Jennifer Paulos). Of course we also mixed a bunch a great old stuff too…from the likes of Israel Vibration, Eating Betty, Bush Chemists, Hollie Cook, Twilight Circus Dub Sound System, and Shabba Ranks & Michael Rose — with Glaze riding the riddim too!
