Anthony Ihrig was joined by Eric Christopher on the fiddle and Jed Germond on the mandolin.
Anthony is an acoustic musician, composer and music educator based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has been entertaining audiences since 1999, when he co-founded Free Range Pickin’, a progressive acoustic string band who helped introduce “newgrass” music to a young generation of fans across the Upper Midwest. In 2006, he joined The High 48s who went on to win first place at the prestigious RockyGrass Bluegrass Band Competition in Lyons, Colorado and who continue to be a crowd favorite at bluegrass festivals across the country. Anthony also appears regularly with other bands in the Twin Cities area, including the Mark Kreitzer Band and Walker Fields, and when not performing, is a sought after banjo instructor and session player.
