Join Laura Waterman Wittstock as she talks with guest Mike Goze, Ho-Chunk visionary leader who has made homeownership and comfortable living a reality for members of the American Indian community for whom ownership or even a safe place to live was thought impossible. He will share lessons learned and plans for the grand opening of the Bi Di Gain Dash Anwebi Elder Housing.
The apartments will include 47 1-bedroom units located on two parcels of land on the east and west sides of Bloomington Avenue South in Minneapolis. Apartments will be available to seniors 62 years of age and older having an income at or below 50% AMI (Area Median Income). HUD (The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) rental subsidies will be available to seniors living in at Bii Di Gain Dash Anwebi Elder Housing. CommonBond Communities will co-sponsor and manage the project.
