The festival celebrates its 4th year with additional stages, added venues, an Artists’ Market, & more.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Now in its fourth year, the West Bank Music Festival celebrates and supports
the West Bank community. The non-profit West Bank Business Association
(WBBA) organizes the festival as part of its mission to strengthen and
celebrate the neighborhood by promoting connections between residents,
businesses, institutions and organizations.
One of the most unique festivals in the Twin Cities, the West Bank Music
Festival is a collaborative, district-wide fest that capitalizes on the West
Bank’s long history as a unique cultural district, celebrating the confluence of
so many alternative cultures.
The 2013 festival will feature art, live music, theater & spoken word, street
festivities, great food, an Artists’ Market, food trucks and more! Rhymesay-
ers hip-hop artist Brother Ali will headline, with Mike Mictlan, Southside
Desire, Mark Mallman, Fuck Knights, Johnny Questionmark and 30+ bands
on 3 outdoor stages and 9+ venues, including Acadia Café, Southern Theater,
Whiskey Junction, Nomad World Pub, Cedar Cultural Center, Red Sea,
Palmer’s Bar, Triple Rock Social Club and Cabooze.
